Laura Yaun is absolutly outstanding (Five Stars *****) - the work Laura does is incredible! I have worked with Laura over the last three months. She was always responsive to questions, always helpful and did amazing work. This was my first book and being a Techno-thriller, I didn't know what to expect. She went beyond my expectations. She was patient in answering questions and did what I asked with positive attitude. Her work ethics are great. She was quick to respond to email or telephone. I think that she did a great job, correcting, grammar, spelling, format, and everything else that was needed without changing my writing tone. She is very flexible and professional in her work. I own an event and marketing company and Laura edits my material. She is extremely easy to work with and has great input on how to rewrite material that doesn't grab a hold of someone who is reading. For me, this is huge because I feel as though I get more clients because of my own marketing material. However, the big reward is keeping my clients because the material we use for them is flawless! I hired Laura to edit my first novel. I had to put total trust in her to edit my baby and she did a beautiful job. What I like about her work is that she didnt change my voice through the edits. It was still clearly my style of writing, just done professionally. She is also very flexible to the clients needs, be it just bare bones editing or suggestions and rephrasing if needed. All jobs are different, so it is important to communicate fully about exactly what you need help with. To give an accurate quote, I like to see a piece of the work and know the extent of work you are requiring. Some people only need help with punctuation and grammar where others need suggestions with sentence restructuring or even corrected English when it is not their first language.
