What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you hire the best you can afford. Don't skimp on your entertainment as 8 out of 10 times you will end up regretting it. This goes double for wedding events as it is a once in a lifetime experience, so you should make sure you hire the best entertainment. Same goes for marketing materials, you want to make sure your image is professional and memorable, hire the best designer you can afford. make sure you are comfortable with their past work, look at their portfolio of work and make sure you like most of the art they have created before deciding on a graphic designer for your business. If you like their past work you will most likely end up liking what they create for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish brides knew just how important their entertainment is to the success of their wedding reception. It has been quoted from Martha Stewart's Magazine that after the event 80% of Brides feel they should have spent more time and money on their entertainment. Most brides spend most of their time on their dress, the cake and the catering, but the one part people remember the most is the entertainment, how much fun they had and how entertaining the event was overall.
