Typical rates are $60/hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact, reviewing client's vision, put together a rough first draft for review, after pre-production is approved move on to production, usually it's good to be 'finaled' after the first or second pass. As long as there isn't any new changes or too many revisions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning and practicing to become the best Animator/3D Artist that I can be.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love building things in the computer and bringing life to my characters.
What types of customers have you worked with?
3D/Character Animation, Medical Animation, Logo Design/Animation and Motion Graphics.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
It was training movies that combined animation and motion graphics. It was over a year and I produced over 17 minutes of movies. The Director was more than satisfied with the final product. It was a great learning experience and the movies have been getting great feedback now that the product is 'live'. Also I did some graphic design work for marketing and the website.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure and view their demo reel and see what people who've worked with the Artist in the past are saying.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It is very hard work that is very time consuming.
