As a music educator and professional musician, I truly understand the
importance of both learning and performing music. As a lifelong student of music, I also know that the relationship between a teacher and student can make all the difference.
That’s why I’m so passionate about both teaching and performing music. I believe that my continued growth as a musician will help me be a better teacher and enable my students to grow into the musicians they want to be.
I have nearly a decade of teaching experience and have been playing at a professional level on multiple instruments since 2010. During time, I've had the opportunity to play and tour with my original bands and support other musicians in their bands, as well.

TLDR; Professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about teaching. If you’re looking to progress your playing with someone who knows their stuff and meets you where you’re at, I’d definitely recommend working with Anthony.
I had been playing guitar for almost a decade and felt myself lacking direction and plateauing, so I reached out to Anthony to help guide me. He has a very deep understanding of both the technical and musical sides of guitar, and more importantly, explains things clearly without leaving you feeling overwhelmed.
Our lessons feel focused but relaxed. We’ve covered everything from technique, applying theory to writing and improvisation, as well as the professional side of gigging and running bands. What I appreciate most is Anthony's patience, he never rushes through a concept and always creates time to explore and answer questions in and out of our scheduled time.

I have been taking guitarlessons with Anthony for a couple months now and have seen significant improvement. One of the many things I have appreciated so far is that the lessons are always tailored to the individual and their learning style. Anthony also has an unbelievably expansive knowledge of not only multiple instruments, but music, music history, and music theory as a whole. As a result, the lessons feel very dynamic and you learn concepts from multiple different angles. You learn from seeing, hearing, and playing. His expertise shines through in his ability to explain difficult concepts in simple terms and in different ways until it makes sense. He's also just a fun person to be around! The studio is also really nice and comfortable.
10/10 would recommend going to Anthony for lessons. I look forward to it every week and it has kept me feeling challenged, motivated, and excited to learn.

I have been taking guitarlessons with Anthony for about four months and am so happy I found him. In my time with Anthony I have noticed a number of things:
-Anthony is an immensely talented guitarist. It is clear from the first lesson how much time he has put into his craft. I am regularly in awe watching him during our lessons as most of the time his playing seems almost effortless. Combine that with how much he loves music and you know you are in good hands.
-While Anthony is an amazing musician, he may be a better teacher. Anthony truly cares about your learning and provides a kind, encouraging presence while also providing the resources and direction to truly improve. He understands when to practice what and does not box his students into a linear, pre-determined learning path. I think this shows how much he cares for your personal development.
I have so much fun spending an uninterrupted hour every week playing with Anthony. I have felt myself improve immensely even in a relatively short time. The reward of working with a teacher who cares so much and the tangible results make me so, so happy that I stumbled upon him. Thank you Anthony!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first lesson, we will spend some time getting to know each other
and going over what your goals are on the instrument. We will set an immediate goal (within 1 month), a moderate goal (2-4 months), and a long term goal (5 plus months). We can then figure out a practice routine that works for you, while also allowing you to reach the goals you've set for yourself.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Denver School of the Arts for high school as a Guitar major. During this time, I also worked closely with the Band, Vocal, and Theater departments. While collaborating with these departments I gained further knowledge of various instruments, genres, and music theory.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies from Columbia College in Chicago. While in college, I was a peer mentor and performed with multiple college ensembles. I also had the opportunity to perform with various local and nationally recognized musicians
