- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my rates on the estimated time I think a project will take. I can quote either an hourly rate or a project rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a phone call or a series of emails to ensure we are on the same page with the project requirements. Once we are in agreement, I will proceed. I also like to know ahead of time if there is a deadline, so that I can meet the customer's deadline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an English degree and an MBA. I started Collingwood Writing Services in 2012 and have served a variety of clients in a variety of industries. My client list includes realtors, non-profits, newspapers, blogging sites and outdoor clothing companies.
