Introduction: As a new mother I was looking for a way to document the little everyday moments that meant so much to me. Sleepily nursing in the sliver of my bedroom window light, feeling their squishy arms up against mine while reading their favorite book again and again, weekends filled with blobby pancakes and slow hikes with ample snacks. Sure I wanted to remember their perfect faces but even more I couldn't loose sight of those moments, their childhood, my learning how to be a mom, us. I taught myself photography because I had to think there were others who needed that too.
