Marty says, "The team not only delivered everything we specified, but there were several pleasant surprises, starting with them carrying everything in and out by hand, demonstrating concern about limiting damage to the yard, and leaving the area very neat, clean and secure every evening. The entire crew was very polite, professional and showing up consistently, typically working 8am to 8pm (and 8 hours on Saturday AND Sundays) through the June and July heat except for a holiday and coupe of very rainy days.This project involved replacing a 20-year-old, elevated, rotten wood deck with a metal frame and 770 sq ft of Trex decking. Two stairways and the custom welded steel cable railing turned out extremely solid. Board-on-board style skirting creates a large storage area that matches the exterior fence. The deck frame has 4x4 steel posts in 3-foot-deep footers reinforced with rebar, 4 x 6 steel beams, and then steel joists every 12. Multiple welders worked together, and the result is a look of superior craftsmanship. Weve joked that it could be used as a hurricane shelter Two gates are framed with double thickness 2x6 and 2x4, and blend into the pattern so you would hardly notice them if not for the hardware. Both the decking and skirting were expertly cut around railings and post footers.Attaching before and after photos.... the lighting is difficult, the deck material looks much better in person."See more
