Hi there. I'm Moon. On the personal photography side I specialize in family photography (maternity, newborns, family portraits, special events), student photos, weddings, elopements, and engagements. On the professional side, I provide headshots, professional portraits, and branding photos. Shoots with me are relaxed, creative, supportive, and fun. I include a free pre-shoot consult with all my packages (excluding mini-sessions) so that I can get to know you and exactly what you're looking for before our shoot.
Personally, I'm based in Fort Collins but am happy to travel. I am a dad and have a golden retriever named Bombadil (5% off services if you get the reference. Kidding. Probably. But maybe we should be friends?).

I cannot begin to express how deeply I adore my photos from Moon. He made the whole experience the absolute BEST! He is not only incredibly talented but also made our photo shoot so enjoyable. We laughed the whole time and he continued to find new spots with the best lighting. I hired Moon to take family photos last Spring and wow he did an awesome job. We asked for some color ones and also some black and white ones and they're all just stunning. My wife printed one out huge and it hangs in our bedroom. I'd highly recommend Moon Myerson Photography! We've also booked Moon for fall photos and are excited for our shoot!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard prices for non-wedding services are as follows:
-Mini-Session (30 mins): $275
-Standard Session (60 mins): $475
-Deluxe Session (120 mins): $800
All packages good for up to 6 people. $25/person beyond six.
Travel included within 1 hour of fort Collins. After 1 hour of travel, a pro-rated $100/hour travel fee applies.
My weddings rates range from $2,000-5,000 depending on size and length of coverage. Please contact me or see my website for details.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Get in touch and we'll decide if I am a good fit for you.
Step 2: We'll do a pre-shoot consult call so I can hear exactly what you're looking for. I can help make recommendations on locations, wardrobe, props, and anything else that's needed.
Step 3: We do your session! You'll receive a link to a private gallery within 14 days with your hand-edited photos.
For weddings, we'll do an initial call and another call closer to your date. My turn around time for wedding photos (and other large events) is 30 days.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a minor in visuals arts with a focus on photography from Naropa University. I have been a photographer since 2002 when I took my first photography class and fell in love. I have experience shooting film as well as digital and have a passion for analog medium format cameras.
