Airbear serviced our old air conditioner and focused on fixing the one we had, not trying to upsell us something we couldn’t afford. I posted a service inquiry to multiple professionals. I had three small projects for Chris: my furnace wasn’t firing, a pipe was leaking and needed welding, and my central humidifier wasn’t producing water. Chris was amazing — he responded to my message within a minute and arrived right on time.
He carefully diagnosed and fixed the furnace issue, which turned out to be caused by a blocked air pipe on the air pressure switch. He welded the leaking pipe and quickly identified the humidifier problem — it was due to both the thermostat and the sensor — and fixed it efficiently.
Chris even took pictures after completing the work to keep detailed project records. He’s the only HVAC technician I’ve met who charges just a small diagnostic fee ($90) and then fairly bills for labor and materials. He’s knowledgeable, professional, and delivers excellent-quality work.
Chris will definitely be my go-to HVAC expert for any future projects. Highly recommended!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Heating and cooling repair calls are $59 visit + cost of repair. Diagnosis and repair quote is provided on site and no repairs are done without your approval.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by listening to what the customer is experiencing, then verify the issue directly at the system and check safety first. Once I know what is actually going on, I explain what I found and give clear options before doing any work.
My approach is repair-first and low pressure. The goal is to fix the real problem, not guess or replace parts unnecessarily.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in residential HVAC since 2014 with hands-on experience in furnaces, air conditioning, boilers, and system diagnostics.
I also completed HVAC training through Don Leonardi Technical School and Red Rocks Community College. AirBear Heating & Cooling is fully licensed and insured, and I focus on repair-first service with clear, honest recommendations.
