Introduction
10+ years in the business doing jobs on the side while working for other companies. The end goal was to start my own business and being my own boss. My passion is creating a customers idea in to a masterpiece. Skills don’t end with landscaping and concrete. Handyman as well. Can install electronics, furniture, flooring, tile, etc.... Please feel free to ask. We can do just about anything!

Knowledgeable, quick, and went above and beyond to get our sprinkler system blown out despite the sun setting!

Joel did a great job repairing my lawn sprinklers. His communication with me was excellent and he did exactly what I needed done in a very timely manner. I've used other landscapers before and there was always something that I wasn't pleased about. Not so with Joel. He went the extra yard to see that the job was done right and that I was satisfied. I will be using him for other projects and I highly recommend him. It's a breath of fresh air when you find a professional that delivers in a professional manner. And he hauled away some trimming material that I had stacked up in my back yard as well! Contact him for your landscaping needs.

Joel responded to my Thumbtack message promptly, provided a very fair estimate, and completed the requested work quickly.
He and his team installed rock, sod, and a sprinkler system in just a few hours. They were professional and cleaned up everything when finished.
I will definitely call on AFA Landscaping again for future projects.

We hired AFA Landscaping for our very first landscaping project ever since we moved in. We didn’t have much knowledge about landscaping projects and we needed the patch of land around our driveway refreshed. It was overgrown with weeds, old ugly looking grasses and tree roots popping up everywhere. Joel Garcia was very good with his communication. He responded quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote for the project. What I liked the most about Joel is that he is very organized and he and his team are very hardworking. Once we decided on the scope of the project and signed a contract, work progressed very smooth and we didn’t need to get involved at all. They cleaned up after their work and if they left any tools to continue work the next day, they left it neatly piled out of the way. They took their time laying landscaping fabric to keep the weeds away. We also asked them to plant roses and I think it’s amazing Joel asked us to select the roses from the flower bin and that helped support a local business as well. He also provided valuable inputs to the project by suggesting installation of a siding where our land bordered with our neighbors so the mulch wouldn’t land on their lawn. I’m sure the neighbors will be grateful for that as well. I definitely recommend AFA landscaping and will hire them again in the future for more projects.
