- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Portrait session are $350 with min 45 digital images delivered through an online gallery ready for print or online use. Weddings rates are customized to individual coverage needs: Traditional full coverage packages (from getting ready to first dance) begin at $1,350 with 6 hours. Additional time and coverage can be added for $150 per hour. Includes print release, consultations, coverage time, and image processing. I also enjoy working with smaller weddings with coverage beginning at $500. Please contact me with details on your celebration.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always have a little discussion with new clients about who we are photographing and for what purpose. Portrait: We will chat to figure out the style you are looking for and the best location for your session. There are so many amazing options with the cities and parks, I have some favorites but I am always open to exploring new spots, too! Wedding: The process begins with a few emails for more details, and in person consultation. I work closely with you on such a special day, I like to make a personal connection with the couples. I also send out what to wear cheat sheets and a confirmation after booking a session and an online questionnaire for all my booked weddings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take a variety of classes, read books & articles, watch videos and look at other people's work. I never stop looking around to see where I can draw new inspiration and techniques.
