Introduction: If you give me an hour, I'll change your day. (Longmont based) Your session is unique to your immediate needs. I don't offer cookie cutter sessions. I will treat your symptoms based on your most noticeable needs and create an effective and functional therapeutic treatment. I've been in business for 20 years, offering a variety of therapies, focusing on injury recovery and pain management. Through the use of different modalities including deep tissue, pemf therapy and functional massage, I am able to encourage your body toward balance and away from pain. Ultimately, I enjoy helping people on a path to better, more pain free movement and health. Standard treatment in Longmont is 90 minutes and runs $120, I offer 60 minute standard sessions for $90. Full hour deep tissue massage may also be an option. A few days notice is normally required to get most sessions scheduled.

Massage Therapy

My experience with Chris of Emerald Bodywise Massage and Wellness has been excellent. I've suffered for years with lower back pain and severe nerve pain in my legs. Over the course of a couple of months, Chris has taken the pain level from an 7/8 down to a 3/4 and there have been some days without any pain at all. What a miracle indeed! Chris assesses your body, how you move, how you stand and then listens to your story all of which is used in your personal treatment plan. He has recently reassessed me and revised his treatment plan to move his plan forward and to a new level. I am so blessed to have found him. My daughter, Amber, researched Chris and then purchased a visit for my birthday. One of the best birthday presents ever - pain free days! I highly recommend him and the service he provides. You will not go wrong choosing to avail yourself of his skills and specialized services. Pam R.

Massage Therapy

Chris did an excellent job on me. He knew what he was doing, he listened to me and went over and beyond what I expected. I needed deeper tissue work and it was provided. I will use Emerald Bodywise Massage and Wellness again and highly recommend them.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

At the office: 60 minutes $75 90 Minutes $100 All sessions outside of the office carry a $25 mileage fee.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always speak first with any potential client to help them understand how my type of treatment can benefit them. Once I understand their symptoms, it is simply a matter of scheduling time for treatment. Your initial session is a chance for me to get a hands on look at your situation and develop the treatment best for your situation. Follow up sessions will reinforce the initial treatment, if necessary, and encourage the body toward better function.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from BCMT in Boulder in 2000 with over 1500 credit hours of training. In the years since, I have continued annual training in a variety of modalities. My focus is on the therapeutic treatment for wide ranging age groups and activity levels. In 2015 I became interested in Myokinesthetics, MYK for short. As a therapy, it rebalances the nervous system, resets the body and relieves the root problem to achieve pain free function. I have been certified since 2016.
