Introduction: I am a mix DJ, meaning I actually program and plan my music as I blend songs together. Beat-mixing maintains the flow of the dance floor. I also take charge of the evening and manage the 'special moments' in order to make everything flow naturally. I'm also an aerial videographer and amateur filmmaker. I like to combine DJing with aerial visuals to create amazing journeys of sight and sound. The energy of people having a good time. Making my clients smile and relax during their event, but also facilitating the enjoyment of everyone in attendance.

We had Trent Warren from Dance Trax DJ our wedding and we couldn't have been happier! We received so many compliments and great feedback from our guests that our DJ was the best they'd ever heard. The music was perfectly on point before, during and after our ceremony and he moved flawlessly through our reception activities (dances, speeches, cake cutting, etc.) - he has clearly had a lot of practice and knows exactly what he's doing! The best thing about Trent was during dancing, he really got everyone up on the dance floor by teaching popular dances and moving through the music without ever stopping the songs. He was amazing and we've already recommended him to two other couples. If we ever need a DJ for a future event, we are definitely calling Trent!

I've known Trent since the late 80's and have DJ'd with him off and on for over 20 years. The venues we've performed at include large and small capacity clubs, private parties, university sponsored events and our own individual weekly college radio shows. Trent's musical knowledge, work ethic and attention to detail are second to none. We're both passionate about music, but Trent is the only person I know who can refer to music by Nas, Marc Anthony, Taylor Swift and The Swedish House Mafia, in the same conversation. Younger kids want to dance to Ke$has new single, but their parents want to hear 80's Madonna? Trent has the equipment, massive music library and familiarity with the songs to produce a custom Ke$ha/Madonna that will keep the dance floor packed. My level of respect for Trents professionalism increased when he served as a Hip-Hop DJ/Program Director for our local college radio station. His work with record label representatives to get the station the newest music, along with his gregarious personality, mixing skills and his ability to break new artists, consistently made his Hip-Hop show the station's most popular. Trent has opened up for and befriended musical legends like Branford Marsalis, Queen Latifah and KRS-One. Despite the fact that he's rubbed shoulders with icons, Trent has always made time to teach and mentor aspiring DJs. Whether youre a couple planning a wedding, an events planner or a club DJ, Trent will help you plan every aspect of your party that involves entertainment. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly. I've seen Trent in action in countless scenarios, at countless venues. He's consistently remained classy and professional, while providing an unmatched musical experience for guests.

Trent was so easy to work from with the very beginning. We were comfortable telling him our likes and dislikes and felt like he was really listening to what we had to say. He exceeded our expectations and really made the wedding a party! We will definitely be calling him with any future events that we have!

I am always studying new equipment, music sources, lighting presentations/setups, and other DJs that are prominent in my field. When I see something that works, I add it to my repertoire.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved music and never learned to play a musical instrument. I naturally gravitated to turntables and found my calling...
What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings are probably 60% of my events. I do mitzvahs and corporate events, but not as often as weddings.
