- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We typically charge $50/hr for tutoring Elementary and Middle School students. The rate jumps up to $55/hr for tutoring High School Students, with the exception of AP or IB courses. The rate goes up further for AP/IB/College level courses to $60/hr. Chemical Engineering courses are typically $75/hr on up depending on the course
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk with my clients initially over the phone or via email to get a little background information and academic history about the student. If the client feels comfortable, we then schedule a time to meet where we either perform an assessment or we jump into the topic that the student chooses. With the client, we tailor a plan for the student to achieve their goals and we provide a roadmap to achieving success!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my MS in Chemical Engineering, a Minor in Chemistry, have taught Chemistry Lab at CU Boulder, and have over 20 years of tutoring/professional engineering experience.
