- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In order to retain my enrolled agent status , I take over 30 hours of CPE in the tax and accounting field each year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family encouraged me to start my own business, so I could decide when and how much I wanted to work. My previous employers example of running a successful business also inspired me to give it a chance.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I worked with a small business reviewing and evaluating the last 4 years of their tax filings. Along with that, we looked at how the client was maintaining their records. Next, we developed a plan, to properly maintain their books. This will make their tax preparation simpler next year for the client and my firm.
