FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $65 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Learn what level the student is at and what experience the student has with the violin- beginning, intermediate, advanced or somewhere in between. 2. Goal setting- what goals does the student have for both the lessons and for the violin in general? 3. Schedule first lesson- I will come with a lesson plan and give a full teaching lesson! 4. If we decide after the first lesson that it is a great fit and want to continue lessons, we will schedule out the next 3 lessons- I typically schedule out 4 lessons at a time. (Please note: this can be discussed and altered on an individual basis if need be.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 18+ years of violin training, teaching and performance experience. I have a Bachelor of Music-Violin Performance degree from CU Boulder. I studied at Interlochen Arts Acadmey in Michigan and have performed internationally. I am classically trained but also have been trained and have performed fiddle music as well attended fiddle camps throughout my 18 years of experience.
