As an owner-operated business, I have a lower overhead which allows me to concentrate fully on the quality of the work being done, rather than jumping from project to project. Quality is how I place value on what I do. Handymen by definition do everything around the house. We repair most everything, which translates to doing different things on a daily basis. There is never a dull day.

Kelly gave us good advice on how to approach our drywall repair. He cooperated with us doing part of the work. He notified us promptly when he needed to reschedule the work. When the appointment time came, he was on time and came with everything he needed to do the job. The results meet our expectations and more. We will invite Kelly back if we have similar work to do in the future.

Kelly did work on drywall and fence for me. We had a master bedroom that had all sorts of drywall issues and Kelly made it look like new in a very reasonable time and for a very reasonable rate. He also fixed a part of my fence that was in disrepair and make it sturdy and safe for my dog. A very nice and knowledgable professional.

I called Kelly to put up a shelf in my daughters room, and to tighten a loose towel rack and curtain tieback. I am very picky about who I let into my home and expect great customer service. I was thrilled that Kelly arrived when he said he would, did the work as if it were no big deal, and even went above and beyond when he noticed another loose towel rack that I had forgotten about. He reminded me of an old friend comfortable, friendly and funny. Bringing Vickie along is an nice bonus for women who are home alone and reticent to have a stranger in the house (and don't have attack dogs like I do). I will definitely hire Kelly again. And I'm just kidding about the attack dogs. Mostly.

Drywall repair on ceiling. Super sensitive area to accurately match the texture and make it look new. DK is and excellent choice; Kelly is very professional, courteous and prompt. DK completed the repair on time and perfect results. Would hire again.

Currently, our standard hourly rate is $45. Larger projects are priced on a bid rate.

Our typical process for working with new customers is to provide a personal estimate of the work to be done. We prefer to meet our new clients face to face prior to starting work so that they feel as comfortable with us as possible.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
For years I have worked in construction. I have always been good with my hands and I've always been a thinker. When the opportunity came to do home improvement and repairs, I took it because it fits my personality.
