Julie recently edited my first book and I am thrilled! Free Range Editorial was the first editing service I ever considered. I felt comfortable immediately. Julie wants to help make my stuff read more smoothly while not changing my voice. Julie is an excellent editor and a real pro. Aside from catching all those pesky missing articles, her suggested revisions have made my writing stronger without interfering with my personal style and the genre demands. I edit a four-page sample for the customer at two levels of service and then we discuss which one suits the author's needs best before discussing price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in journalism, was a copy editor at a major legal publisher for more than 10 years, and have been working with independent authors for more than five years.
