FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a PRINT photographer. Except for corporate work that requires digital files, my final product is a print. However, I do provide the social media-size digital files for all prints purchased. Virtually all clients purchase at least one wall portrait. That is what I do. Honestly, if all you want is digital files ( not a good idea) you should hire someone else.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For high school seniors, individual portraits, and family portraits I request a pre-session consultation. I will come to your home, so you do not need to travel. If you prefer, we can meet somewhere else. This consolation give you a chance to know me and for me to understand what YOU expect. If absolutely necessary, we can conduct the consult by phone, but in-person is much better for both of us. A portrait of any type is a collaborative effort. The subject and I have to have a connection for the best results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend regular recurrent training as well as the annual Professional Photographers of America convention. I have been trained by some of the best portrait photographers in the industry. My credentials include: Master Photographer (for photographic excellence) and Photographic Craftsman (teaching and service to the industry), and I am a Certified Professional Photographer.
