Tutoring session=cost of a self-care activity for you such as a haircut/color, a massage or a mani-pedi AND the effects of that tutoring session can last a lifetime for your child.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do an intake interview with the parent, then at the first session with the student, I do a screening to determine their current skills and needs so I know what to address so we’re efficient and effective.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in Occupational Therapy, so I had to take lots of science courses such as neuroanatomy, anatomy, kinesiology, calculus, biology, chemistry, psychology, medical terminology, etc.
