Emily was AMAZING!! Goose loved her and responded to her methods immediately. She took the time to walk us through exactly what he learned and how we can apply it in our everyday lives. I told her I wanted to be able to take him to restaurants and not only did she train him for it, she took him for a test run in real life. She was kind, caring and really cared about the dog and quality of her work!! 10/10 would use her again!

Emily is a professional and exceptional dog trainer. My dog had severe behavioral issues that eventually lead to an incident where he mildly bit a family member of mine. Not only did he have behavioral issues inside the home, he also walked poorly on leash and was so reactive to other dogs and people that it became embarrassing to take him on walks. It was a struggle just to get him out of the house. Emily worked with him on his issues and he now greets people in the home with a warm welcome, knows how to heel while walking on leash, is no longer reactive to passing pedestrians, is less reactive towards dogs on leash, and can ride in the car comfortably and without risking my driving safety. We follow Emily’s training and advice at home and his improvements continue. Emily is available and has always been on my side. I can count on her- even after the formal training with her completed. I highly recommend Emily as your next dog trainer! I went through a few trainers before finding Emily, and her help has improved me and my dog’s overall well being and relationship.

Words can’t describe how much Emily has helped our family by working with our 4 year old mixed breed, Floki. Having been through much trauma in his early years we did not know if he could be helped. Although loving to his immediate owner, He was extremely aggressive and protective and bite multiple people (luckily family members) on different occasions but we feared he was on his way to having to be put down. Floki had never had any formal training and he went to stay with Emily for 5 weeks. We were nervous to get the phone call that he was unable to be helped, but Investing in her was probably the best money we’ve spent in years; she was nothing short of incredible. We could never have imagined a better trainer for him and his special needs. Having had zero leash training, he’s now walking in a perfect heal, he is unfazed by distraction and has been good with all people and dogs that we’ve come into contact with since. Having had zero crate training, he is now able (and actually likes) to go into his crate without a fuss and remain in there for hours on end (which has given me my life back and has allowed me to be able to go back to work). He no longer fixates on people, places or things that used to not only distract him but aggravate him and we’re able to use the simple yet effective commands she has taught us to get his attention back on us should anything be upsetting or distracting to him. Having never officially “stayed” for more than 2 minutes in his entire life, Floki will now remain in “place” for hours until we command otherwise and he is no longer protective of his food and toys the way he used to be. Before working with Emily, Floki had never been able to go to the vet because each time we went, the vet feared getting bite. That is no longer an issue because he is now comfortable in a muzzle which used to cause him to go ballistic and I mean so crazy that grieving a shot was out of the question. (The vet now loves him and hopefully soon we will be able to go without a muzzle) If that were the only thing we accomplished with her training that would have been more than enough for me to hire her, but she was able to accomplish so much more. I could literally go on for hours but I won’t. All I will say is that she is the best at what she does and any dog would be lucky to spend any amount of time with her. The resources she has given us, apart from our life back, have been invaluable. I do not know how I found her, but Emily couldn’t have been a better fit for the huge amount of work I knew Floki would be. He is not perfect, but we are working weekly on the simple tasks she has laid out for us and will continue to do so. She responds quickly and makes the process of enrolling dogs in her program simple and effective. The best part is she makes herself available for follow up questions and concerns for the months following training with her. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better trainer and we are forever grateful for her unbelievably hard work.

Emily is amazing! When she trains your dog, she then trains YOU so that your dog does not revert back to its old ways. Well worth the investment to have a happy, well behaved dog!
