Restoring You Healing

Introduction: WHAT IS REIKI? Reiki is universal energy that is channeled by the Reiki master. This universal energy serves on a mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual level. As a healing modality, Reiki is a gentle and non-intrusive complementary form of healing that increases the body’s acceptance levels and cultivates the body’s internal energy as well as the receiving the external universal energy to promote healing. HOW REIKI WORKS? During a session, the practitioner places her hands lightly on or slightly off the body to channel the Reiki energy; this can include balancing the charkas both individually and as a whole system, clearing blockages, cutting cords and/or physical pain. The goal is to restore balance which can then promote and facilitate healing for body, mind, and spirit. WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION The recipient lies on a massage table fully clothed. The practitioner places her hands on the recipient’s feet and moves up the up through the chakra chain to assess areas needing attention. As a recipient, you will feel relaxed as energy flows through your body. Everyone is different. During a session, some people fall asleep, while others may feel emotional as old deep-rooted emotions rise to the surface. This is perfectly normal since it is the body’s natural intelligence to heal itself. PHILOSOPHY Reiki is amazing because it works with the Reiki recipient whom controls the amount of energy she will accept. Each session is different as our energy is constantly moving.
