FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $120 per session for individual counseling. Rapid Resolution Therapy is $175 per hour and usually requires 2 to 6 sessions total. I accept most major credit cards, check or cash. Many of my clients use their healthcare savings account to pay for sessions. At this time I do not accept insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. Please call your insurance for information about your coverage. On request, I will provide you with a Master Bill that can be submitted to your insurance at the end of every month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally you can set up your first counseling session with me via email or you can request a free 30 minute phone consult. We set that up for a time that is convenient for you and me. During the phone consult you let me know what you are hoping to address in counseling and we can talk so you can see if it feels like a good fit for you. You can ask questions about me, my approach or anything else you might want to know about counseling. You can set up your first counseling session at that time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree in Psychology and Clinical Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver. I counseled university students at the University of Colorado for a time, I counseled at a nonprofit agency for individuals age 4 to 75. Currently I counsel adults 17 and over in my private practice. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Registered Psychotherapist in the state of Colorado. I am also a Certified Rapid Resolution Therapist.
