How it works.

1. Select a service.

Select a service from the top categories above or type the service needed into the search bar in the top left. 

2. Select a pro.

Based on the service needed and zip code, you will see a list of pros in the customer’s area. Select a pro by clicking "view profile."

3. Fill out the request form.

Follow the prompts and provide the job details. Thumbtack will ask for more information, like the customer’s preferred date and time for the work to be completed.

4. Hire a pro.

Complete the request flow to book a pro. When asked to enter a name, email, and phone number, enter the customer’s information. Use a placeholder password known to only Armis. Make sure to uncheck the SMS opt-in box when entering this information.

5. Alert the customer.

An email will be sent automatically to the customer, letting them know that they are booked. They will be prompted to set their password to access the Thumbtack platform.
