Introduction: Welcome to WHAT’S ON THE MENU EVENT SERVICES. I have spent decades honing my services skills to bring you the best overall experience and value, your money can buy. Our food is inventive fresh, delicious, and created to your needs. We also supply staffing or bar needs as requested. My job is too bring joy to you and your guests no matter how small or big your event is. We are Advil for your event. I enjoy and approach each event with the goal to make a lasting impression. I take pleasure in knowing that my hard work makes for a seamless event. Our pricing is very straight forward with absolutely no hidden charges. We have a Five hour minimum flat rate of $250 per staffer and then $35hr after and we base gratuity on food. Non-food events (staffing-bar) are never tip included, it is at your discretion.

Event Help and Wait Staff

We used rich to help us with our sons baptism. Communication was easy. He arrived early, asked all the right questions to get a lay of the land, and then kept things moving through the party. Overall it was a great experience and we will absolutely hire him again

I can't say enough positive things about Richard Stein and his crew!! From the time I hired him until the completion of my daughters wedding he continually exceeded expectations. I originally hired him as a bartender and as time went on I kept adding jobs to the list. He was able to say yes to anything I asked for. I have never worked with anyone who was more responsive to emails and texts. At one point I was visiting with the future bride and groom months before the wedding and we were trying to make a decision. I said "I would like Richard's opinion" within 5 minutes he was on speaker phone chatting with us all. Amazing! Our event was not an easy one. The terrain of the setting was hilly and a distance from the trucks. He not only worked his tail off he helped other vendors who needed help. The bartending service was excellent, the food he provided was great, the staff set up, cleaned up, dealt with a difficult trash situation ( distance to haul bags ). We could not have pulled off this DIY wedding without his insight and hard work. Richard and his staff are total gems. 6 stars!!

I initially hired a bartender, but later I added two servers from What's On The Menu for a birthday party at my home. Prior to the event, I contacted Rich several times with many questions about my event planning, and he was always very responsive; with great and very helpful advice. On the day of the event, all three team members arrived on time and were very helpful in getting us set up for the party. They were thoughtful, polite, professional and diligent. The service was outstanding!! The team impressed not just me and my family, but my guests spoke very highly of them too. I will not hesitate to hire What's On The Menu for future events.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The whole process is a learning experience at times, both for the client as well as myself. Lots of questions, lots of listening, and lots exploring. Digging to find the needs, wants, likes, and dislikes are what makes a successful event.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have three decades of experience! I have not only been a participant, but an observer of what to do and what not to do at events. The best education is that of experience and doing.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    My customers have run the spectrum. From Titans of industry to the Party Planner to the Housewife to the spouse who wants to do something nice for their love.
