I hired this bartender for my birthday party, and he exceeded expectations from start to finish. He arrived early, came fully prepared, and had his bar set up quickly and professionally, which immediately took a lot of stress off my plate.
Throughout the night, guests kept commenting on how much they liked him—not just his friendly, approachable personality, but also the quality of the drinks he made. Everything was crafted with care, and it really elevated the whole experience.
There are plenty of talented bartenders out there, but what truly sets him apart is his responsiveness and helpfulness leading up to the event. He was incredibly quick to reply to texts, guided me through exactly what I needed to purchase in advance, and even helped me troubleshoot when I ran into an issue getting ice delivered. That level of support made a huge difference.
If you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and genuinely invested in making your event a success, I would absolutely recommend him.

We hired Rich’s team for our 6/22/24 wedding. It was one of the BEST decisions we made. Right from the first contact, Rich was professional and took time to explain everything. We were absolutely blown away by the service provided! During the wedding, our bartenders Taylor and Charles were phenomenal! Their energy was a perfect addition to the wedding. Taylor was so attentive to every detail, she kept the timeline on track, and really did anything needed to make our day go smoothly. She went above and beyond when it started to downpour during dinner, and she brought the food from our pizza truck inside to the buffet tables so guests didn’t have to get wet. She was running in breads, pizzas, and salads in the pouring rain- what a ROCKSTAR! Charles was so sweet and kind behind the bar, especially with my younger nieces and nephews. He made them feel so special ordering their sodas throughout the night, and that was such a treat for them! After the wedding, we received so many compliments from guests on how incredible the staff was. Rich, Taylor, and Charles- there aren’t even words to express how amazing our wedding was because of your service. Thank you for making our day perfect! I definitely recommend hiring What’s on The Menu for your event, I know we will be booking again for sure!!!! Thank you 🩷

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The whole process is a learning experience at times, both for the client as well as myself. Lots of questions, lots of listening, and lots exploring. Digging to find the needs, wants, likes, and dislikes are what makes a successful event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have three decades of experience! I have not only been a participant, but an observer of what to do and what not to do at events. The best education is that of experience and doing.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers have run the spectrum. From Titans of industry to the Party Planner to the Housewife to the spouse who wants to do something nice for their love.
