About
I have been a High School math teacher and tutor for 7 years now. I have worked with a very diverse group of students from all backgrounds and skill levels. The key to success in math is being able to come up with strategies that will work for each individual student. I like to take time to identify specific skills and content that students struggle with and try to design strategies that will fit their learning style.
I have had much success with SAT students, many student's scores have gone up around 100 points. I recently worked with a student who is trying to skip Algebra I by getting a 93 or better on the high school midterm and final. I worked with him for 15 hours (teaching him about 5 months of content) and he scored a 95 on the midterm.
I enjoy the "Aha!"moment students have when things start to click. There isn't a better feeling when you know you are making a difference in a student's life and they realize that they are able to do math!

His patience is very rare and his helpful skills make him a great tutor. He helps with the problem step by step if needed and allows me to do certain problems on my own in order to give myself a better understanding. I highly recommend this tutor for kids who rather prefer one on one learning and a brighter future in math.

ASVAB Test Prep
Dan is the man ! I came to him a week before my ASVAB test, I was having problems with the Math knowledge and arithmetic reasoning section of test. With such very little time Dan made a huge impact !! Due to his help I passed the test with flying colors ! He actually breaks problems down and goes into detail. He shows you multiple ways to work out a problem. I enjoyed working with him, he actually made math fun and easy !!!!
