We hired Gina to photograph our wedding on 10/19/14. I came across some photos she took on Facebook and instantly fell in love with her style and incredible eye for detail. Throughout the whole process, Gina was so easy to work with and extremely helpful! We really gave her little direction; just a couple of things we wanted or didn't want, and left the rest up to her! She brought so much fun to the whole day and her easy going personality made her such a pleasure to work with! One of our guests was pregnant and the side of her dress opened during the wedding. Gina came into the bathroom as we were trying to fix it with safety pins and was able to tie a shawl around her in a way non of us ever would have thought of. This just speaks to how wonderful she is to have at your event! I would highly recommend Gina to photograph any special event :)

Gina recently shot our maternity/family photos and then the newborn photos when my son was born. We were impressed not just with the photos -- which are AMAZING -- but also with her patience and willingness to work with us to get the shots we wanted. She also worked so well with my 16-month old daughter and knew to let my daughter call the shots with respect to the photos. Gina was quick with the camera every time both babies were cooperating. We are very happy with Gina's work.

My sister purchased a newborn session for our son - I was thrilled! He was four days old, very fussy, irritable, and needed constant diaper changes and feedings! Despite this, Gina was super-patient, understanding, and made us feel comfortable. The photos were amazing, they did not reflect any foul mood, and surpassed our expectations! She even sent us four photographs within 24 hours so we could put them on our Christmas cards/birth announcements.

I had a great outdoors portrait shoot with Gina. She is professional, honest, talented and super friendly :) I am a very camera-shy person and she made me feel pretty, comfortable and took outstanding pictures of me (really wow)! Would recommend to anybody in a heart beat.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My favorite and most common jobs are Newborn Photography, and Wedding/Event Photography. In some ways, these two things couldn't be more different. Newborn sessions are calm and peaceful while weddings are usually high energy, crazy events! What I really love is what they have in common. The celebration of love, life, family... the new beginning of something great. These things bring me the most joy, and that's why I love photographing them. The memories we make during these times have to be saved and preserved for the next generation. Some images have a timeless, heirloom quality and you just know they will be passed down... I strive for this every time I shoot.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important thing is to pick someone who you resonate with. You want to find a photographer you feel comfortable with and who knows what is important to you. That's the best way to get photos you love, that are really spectacular.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

One of the most important questions I ask a photographer before choosing to hire them is whether or not I get to keep digital copies of all the final images. As a customer, nothing is more disheartening than coming away from an amazing photography session only to realize I have to pick and choose which photos I can take home, because the price of the digital files is way out of my budget. I know I'm going to have my favorite images printed and framed, but I still want to keep the rest of the files, just so I can look back on them later. After all, we made some fun and amazing memories at our photography session, and this is definitely a time in my life that I wanted to capture... that's why I hired a professional! As a photographer, I feel strongly about selling what I would want to buy. That's why all of my portrait sessions, weddings and events include ALL the fully edited, high resolution images. I never want to be in a position where I have to watch my clients struggle to choose which images they want to keep, and which memories they have to let go, in order to stay within their budget. Photography, to me, is about heritage, memories and connection. I not only want you to have an amazing experience with me, I want you to take home photographic heirlooms... to share with your friends and family, and to cherish for a lifetime.
