FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is pretty cut and dried and I stand by my estimates.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked at my daughters school. There were several single moms who did not have anyone to help with lawn care. Since my own husband at the time would not help and I really enjoyed doing yard work I started throwing my mower in the truck and doing these jobs. Word of mouth spread the lawn care service. The first cleaning job I had was with a woman who became a dear friend. She saw me working and was impressed with how hard I worked and conscientious I was. We started chatting and I ended up cleaning for her. Well, after she was thrilled with my work she spread the word to some friends and the rest is history. My clients were sad to see me go, but I did recommend a replacement for all of my jobs when I left. For the house cleaning and the lawn care. One of the hardest things to leave were my clients, but I felt better knowing I left them all in good hands!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Cleaning, mowing, weeding flower beds, clearing overgrowth, weeding and trimming. I'm pretty much a jack of all trades. But I will be the first to let you know if there is a task I feel is beyond my capabilities.
