Kristin M. says, "My husband and I did not know where to start when searching for an MC for our wedding reception. We were introduced to Josh through a wedding officiant I was interviewing for our big day who also is an MC/Comedian. Down the road, we had to change our wedding date (twice). He was no longer available for our date but highly recommended Josh for the job! We were so excited! I am not a professional at booking MCs or comedians but after my first phone call with Josh, I knew he'd be perfect for the role. We booked Josh to MC our wedding reception (and had booked an officiant separately). Josh was there to help us throughout the entire process to plan the music, introduction, first dance, games, and even a short comedy show for the dinner reception. Josh is professional, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. We communicated via email, text, phone, and Zoom. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. On our special day, he was at the venue early/on-time to set up. He brought his own sound equipment thankfully because our venue did not supply it. Now to the good part, our guests had an amazing time. I say this because of all of the positive feedback we received. A guest said, "...it was clear that they had a great relationship with their vendors and it showed because the day just flowed." We had guests in the age range of toddlers to elders. Josh was respectful to all of our guests and he worked with us to ensure that everyone was happy and having the best time. Josh did not let us down. The night breezed by. We could not have asked for a better MC or comedian. We did not know we needed a comedian for our special day but in the end, we knew it was the perfect decision. Everything happens for a reason. We knew that our wedding day was going to have a full schedule and thus, due to the nature of the event--hectic and filled with a lot of emotion and sometimes hiccups. Josh went with the flow of the schedule even when we had some last-minute schedule changes. He put us at ease from the start of planning to the day of. When there were hiccups, we were met with great professionalism, laughs, and had a great time. Isn't that what's most important after all? Johnny K. says, "I would like to start off by saying; "WoW" I mean, seriously. Initially when I was looking for some form of entertainment for my anniversary party I was very conflicted. Being that in today's age there are just so many options of what there is to cater to a humongous venue of party people. We are talking about keeping over 500 different personalities not only happy, but inrestingly enough, engaged in what is being provided to them for stimuli. I was thinking karaoke, and also thinking like a game hunt, and then I was trying to manifest a concept of perhaps there being like a lottery of randomly selected dance partners... and I thought of a game like, what's the song name of that beat? Or like a music trivia. There were artificial intelligence applications that were brought to my attention which must off which were just not only annoying with the free trial periods that did not include the deluxe packages which then sparked membership obligations and monthly incurred charges which were costly and an inconvenience. It started to become such a hassle looking for something that would keep the crowd going and at the same at bay so there were not any sparks of rage being that there was an open bar. I was gonna just get a juke box but then I ended up deciding to blow off some steam cause i only had less than a week to figure something out before there was a reckoning at my anniversary party. Then I ended up meeting a DJ that could bring not only a substance of originality and consistency, but also provided my event with everything I mentioned above and more! I mean this guy was at my party almost 2 hours before setting up his equipment. And let me not get started on the quality of his electrical components. This guy had it all. Lights, smoke, costumes, gear, original productions, videos, karaoke, a vast selection of music genres, from hip hop to rnb to salsa to techno and dubstep and even the Cha Cha Slide! He was so focused the entire time and never once was bothered by the plethora of drunken musique requests. He was awesome and professional! Not to mention the guy was fit to the knock over a moose! Guy was Jacked! Yet there was no level of intimidation at all from this guy, he was so incredibly invested in the crowd that he ended up probably picking up 5 or 6 more gigs just from his Rockstar performance! The ladies loved him too! I kinda feel like i might of saw my wife take a few glances at him that made me feel like, "Thats the type of guy I wanna aspire to be." Anyhow, this guy brought life to the party and was worth every dime I paid for the deliverance and more. Would I recommend DJ Rico to other events? Well the answer is yes, Absolutely 💯 percent! My friends, I promise you that you WILL NOT go wrong should you ever have the privilege of hiring this outstanding artist to put on the best show you may ever have the opportunity to receive. I am most certainly looking forward to having him booked for my upcoming events.
