With two major issues facing me, 1. a firm belief that I'm not photogenic, resulting in a horrible fear of the camera, and 2. being a very heavy sweater, even on the coldest winter day, I was less than willing to face the lens of a professional photographer. With the phone contact, Lanny immediately put me at ease. Yet I continued to delay. Upon meeting Lanny, I knew I was with a friend. Ever patient and gently encouraging, he directed me in posing naturally and comfortably. Bear in mind my nickname over the centuries since college yearbook season has been "Stone Face." I so pleased to report that Lanny produced, untouched, the only three photos of me that I actually love. Without reservation, I'm happy to say that Lanny is not only a true professional, but a sincere, personable, and genuine human being I am proud to say I know.

I knew I chose the right photographer when Lanny accepted my job because, "It sounds like fun!" He dealt with two spoiled French bulldogs wearing costumes and their camera-phobic owner (me!) with grace, efficiency and good humor. The photos were excellent, Lanny insisted on helping me add text, and he checked and double-checked every step of the way to make sure everything was first rate. I'll be returning to benefit from his relaxed demeanor and excellent skills!

Lanny was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had to reschedule our first appointment and it took a few weeks to get back on track but he was patient and professional. Head shot came out fantastic as well!
