- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a minimum hour booking, though I prefer 90 minutes to give ample time for creativity. My price is based on hourly, but I will certainly do half-hour increments after the first hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in fine art and a certificate from Yale School of Drama in Theatrical Set Painting. I work as a full-time artist at The Goodspeed Opera House and paint faces on the weekends. I'm working on my henna skills and basic balloon twisting.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After years of coercion from a fellow face painter, I finally caved and took up a brush myself. I wish I'd have started sooner because I absolutely love face painting.
