I had a surprise 30th prom for my husband and I hired It's All About You for the occasion. The were both the dj and had the photo booth. They were outstanding! They were sweet, caring, professional and a blast to have at our event. The book they created for my husband is amazing! It is well put together and thoughtfully laid out. Working with Pam and Joe as a team was so effortless on my behalf. Any question I had they were always right on top of it with a speedy response. They are very knowledgeable in the field and have a lot of experience and background which helped me a lot, especially going into this blind. They kept in contact throughout the months and guided me step by step. Needless to say the actual wedding day between the DJ services and photo booth services was absolutely perfect and more that I could ask for. Tiffany, thank you for the kind words. We had an absolute blast with your wedding from the planning to the actual day. Getting married on Halloween was so cook and it was so much fun customizing the Photo Booth to support your Halloween theme and your venue was top notch. Woodwinds, by far, has been one of the best venues to work with and Scott is mainly the reason for it. He, like us, is very detailed oriented and on top of his game. Again, we had a blast with your family and friends and we wish you many, many years of health and happiness together.
We hired All About You to DJ a 25th Anniversary party at Woodwinds. We "interviewed" Pam on the phone and she was very nice and answered all of our questions. When we got there to set up, Joe was already there, set up and ready to go. They sent a form in advance asking what kind of music to play and they did exactly as we asked. We didn't have a lot of dancers at the event, but when people finally got up, Joe and the MC kept the them up. In addition to all of that, the price they charged was very good in comparison to other companies. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We do not have complicated pricing. It is straight forward, based on what the client's needs are and the length of the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Our typical process working with a new customer is to first make phone contact. After having a brief phone conversation, we then set up a time to meet with our client to go over their vision of their upcoming event. Once we are hired we send them and email recapping our conversations, and include in the email our Wedding Party List, which is a Word Document for the client to fill out in terms of activities they want covered at their event, genre of music they want played and not played, etc. We also include our Insurance, Certificate of Liability and Contract specifying every detail we discussed. We advise the customer at this time that we are available for any questions they may have and advise to have the Wedding Party List back to us within 30 days of their event. Once we receive the Wedding Party List back we review the list very carefully and circle back with our customer to go over every aspect of the Wedding Party List to make sure we are both on the same page with the information they have provided. Once we have finalized the Wedding Party List, we suggest that our client forward the Wedding Party List to their Event Planner to make sure that we are all on the same page; Venue, Customer and DJ. We feel it's better to be proactive to ensure that our client's vision is fulfilled.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Of course we are constantly staying up with the latest technology and latest music. We are able to do this by way of on line DJ resources, networking and also by way of our customers and what their requests are.
