I brought Cedric a broken wall-mounted reading lamp, thinking it might be fixed by welding. He identified the metal as an alloy that was not weldable, but offered to trying soldering instead. He struck me as highly experienced in all fix-it matters, with a cluttered workshop and every tool imaginable. If he could not repair this lamp, no one could! He went to some trouble to find the right soldering mixture but a few days later I went to pick up the lamp and it was nicely and neatly repaired. Great, friendly service, and very affordable. Highly recommended.
Imet did a beautiful job fabricating a custom stainless steel tabletop. Fast and professional, even helped arrange the delivery! Would definitely use Swiss Welding again.
In the fall of 2014 we purchased a house that was built in the mid 50's. There had been no update whatsoever done to this house. Everything was original. We hired Altieri Construction to help us with updating this dinosaur and couldn't be happier with his work. He began by changing out every window in the house from the old, worn, wooden windows to new energy efficient vinyl windows. Lots of savings there in heating costs and noise reduction! He was professional, reliable and neat. We were completely satisfied with the installation. Next we had to update our kitchen. It consisted of metal cabinets that were so old they were rusted through, and old porcelain sink and a stand-alone old old stove. Frank helped us to select our new cabinets, countertops and a configuration that would work in a rather small space. (I've included a before and after picture of the kitchen.) The results were fabulous. We couldn't be happier with the work he's done for us and would most definitely use him again on our next project and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
I contacted Shawn @ ShineZall, LLC a few months ago after searching online for a local business that could perform stainless steel welding on an exhaust system for my car. The contact method I initially chose was email, which I received a very prompt response from Shawn stating he would be more than happy to help & he provided me a mobile contact # to contact him directly and speak about the project. This was a custom exhaust that was only being held on w/clamps and had leaking issues. Shawn from ShineZall, LLC stated he had over 10+ years or more of experience with welding and fabrication and asked me specific details regarding the number of welds, types of joints for each section, etc.. to get an idea of the time required to complete the job. He then quickly came up with a quote and we agreed on the price and I brought my car to his local location the very next day. We had agreed on meeting @ 6:00 A.M. and when I arrived Shawn was outside waiting for me, eager to start the job. I felt very comfortable as he was very professional and knowledgeable. He told me he would have the job completed in the afternoon and I left my car in his capable hands. Throughout the day I was receiving picture updates and messages from Shawn of his progress, which was great that he took the time to assure me of his progress and the quality of his work. I then received a call early in the afternoon that the job was done, I was thrilled. I went to pickup the car & Shawn showed me in detail what he had done and the car has never sounded better. The weld quality is the highest I have ever seen completed by hand. Not only were the welds uniform in size & height, they were spaced perfectly so much so you would think a machine had done it, but it was all due to the talented staff @ ShineZall, LLC. Shawn then provided me with a professional invoice and receipt, charging me exactly the price we agreed upon & gave me his business card. I would recommend anyone who needs high quality welding, or any stainless steel welding to contact ShineZall, LLC as the service, quality & overall experience was amazing. The welds are still holding strong and will more than likely outlast the life of the car itself.
I was extremely impressed with Roman and his company. Long-term stressful circumstances and everything needing to be timed to the minute left me with a small margin for error on my part, the movers, the scrap metal guy, Salvation Army, etc. Roman and Joseph showed up exactly at 11 as promised. Roman immediately took calm control of everything by suggesting a walk through. Then he said "Let's get started!" And he and Joseph briskly and efficiently emptied my house and packed the truck. Several times I had questions. Each time Roman smiled, answered and communicated in manner and words "Everything's under control. No problem." Even Joseph looked at me kindly and said "Don't worry. We'll take care of everything." I have no car so I rode to my new place with them. By the time we got there, I was so relaxed, I was laughing. And just as efficiently, they unloaded the truck up some very steep stairs, keeping their smiles the entire time. I bought them lunch: I was very grateful not only for their efficiency and capability, but for the de-stressing factor they added to my life simply by being my movers. Historically I move frequently, and so I definitely count Roman and his people as my MFL (Movers For Life). Added note is that he was the GM for Two Men and a Truck for 10 years prior to starting his own business 4 years ago with his own capital, growing a bit at a time. Ive worked with people my entire life; what I do depends on my ability to accurately asses a person, who they are, and what theyre about. I heard Roman handle several client calls for upcoming moves very professionally with the same assurance that left me knowing I was hiring the right guys. Roman is conscientious, sharp, and focused on building a strong and ethical business dedicated to helping people have peace of mind during their move. Im definitely using him again if he agrees to, knowing hell have to deal with those stairs again when I move out!
I first hired Tom during a renovation back in 2006 to upgrade the ductwork in our 100 year old house. We ended up having him install a new gas furnace and AC system on top of it. Fantastic work - my review is also on his shop's website. We were so impressed and happy with Tom's work that when we bought a new house that needed work on the HVAC system - Tom was the ONLY contractor I called. He has since completely replaced the ductwork in our new house, replaced the AC, and did an oil-to-gas boiler conversion. We also have Tom coming back to add heat to our basement and garage workshop when it's finished. I have referred Tom to friends and coworkers, who have also chosen him to do their work. I could go on and on, but the most convincing part of my review is this - you don't do this much repeat business with a contractor unless you really like their work and the way they treat you and your house. I gave Tom the keys to the house for the duration of the project, and trusted him to come/go any time. Look at the pictures of his work, they practically speak for themselves. Without question, Tom is my HVAC guy for as long as he's in the business, without question.
