FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The majority of my work is pretty standard.....$50 per hour labor. For lawn service, my prices start at $35 per lawn and goes up. If the customer requires any sort of removal of refuse, the charge is $5 per bag (flat rate) and I haul away. If multiple trips are necessary, there is an additional fee of $10 per trip (fuel charge). So pretty much, lawn service is flat rate which includes mulching the grass clippings, weed trimming, and blower clean up. Thats the general service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact would be via phone call or email. Meeting will be scheduled at customers request (face to face). Discussion of the request would take place. At that time, appointment would be scheduled and frequency would be discussed. After that is all set, payment would be discussed, cash, check, major credit cards accepted in the field or done at the home office. (credit card fees are an additional 5% of cost.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no "formal" training. I love working outdoors and I take care of my property and I believe I do a wonderful job. I am on time, dependable, and I treat every lawn like it was my own. I do have a license for Commercial Pesticide Applicator but haven't needed to use it. I trust my abilities and I hope you all can trust them too.
