FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At QuickDry Property Rescue, we believe in transparent, fair pricing. Every water damage situation is different, so costs depend on the affected area, water contamination, extraction requirements, equipment needs, and drying time. We use industry-standard estimating practices and explain the recommended work before starting. We can also provide documentation to assist with insurance claims. Our priority is completing the necessary restoration work properly while helping customers avoid unnecessary expenses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with understanding your emergency and scheduling an assessment. We inspect the affected areas, identify moisture intrusion, and explain our recommended restoration plan. Once authorized, we begin water extraction, place professional drying equipment, and perform necessary cleaning or antimicrobial treatment. We monitor moisture levels throughout the drying process and document our work. We also help customers understand the insurance claim process when applicable. Our goal is to make a stressful situation as simple as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
QuickDry Property Rescue holds three IICRC certifications: Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT). Our training covers professional water extraction, structural drying, moisture measurement, psychrometrics, and restoration procedures. We use professional-grade moisture meters, thermal imaging, commercial dehumidifiers, and air movers. We are also insured and hold a Connecticut Home Improvement Contractor registration.
