FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to set pricing on a project-to-project basis. Depending on the type of design in question, certain projects can easily be more or less expensive. For example -- adapting an existing graphic for print would require less time and resource than generating a new one from scratch.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically prefer to start every project with a consultation phone call where I speak to my clients at length about what they wish to accomplish with their design. Will your design need to be printed? Is it a logo or branding for a company? Does it need to be adapted for your website? All of these questions and many more can impact the way in which we might tackle your project. Once I have a firm understanding of your individual needs, I then like to help new clients understand what to expect in terms of time-frame, pricing, and my logistical process for making any revisions. Then we get to work!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Graphic and Web Design at the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts from 2012-2013 -- although I feel that there is simply no better educational process than hands-on work. After over ten years working professionally in the field, I find that the majority of my work at this point is informed by the thousands of hours I've spent working with clients to dial-in their specific wants and needs.
