I am using TEMS for a move to DC which involves three months of local storage. The first leg of this move was completed today, namely packing my furniture and putting it in a storage unit in New Haven.
Aswad is very easy to get a hold of and quickly got me an estimate. Aswad did not do the move himself, but Abdul and his helper were great - professional, careful, capable, friendly. My building's loading dock area was disgusting and they made sure to clean it up so my boxes and furniture wouldn't get dirtied. They packed everything in protective paper, tape, and shrink wrap. The truck was loaded safely for the trip. It took a bit longer than I expected, most of which was not their fault (my building is complicated and I asked them to go to an additional location for a dresser), although a third person would have sped things up considerably. Overall, I'm very impressed with TEMS and glad that I found them.
I will update this in three months when my stored belongings are delivered to DC, but assuming things go as well then as they did today (and that the final cost is in line with the original estimate), the five-star rating will remain. Highly recommended!

I had not moved in many years and was undoubtedly nervous about finding a trustworthy mover. I received many offers from Thumbtack but some just vanished after I mentioned I would like a contract and receipt for any payment I made upfront. In contrast, Aswad at Experience movers was straightforward, upfront and very professional - he immediately forwarded me a contract and a receipt. He took down all details clearly to make sure the move went smoothly and showed up exactly on time, performing the move quickly and efficiently. He and his crew were really nice in waiting extra time for my family to get to the place of delivery and working with me to coordinate details. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family. Thank you Experienced Movers for making my move smooth and professional!

I don't know how I would have been able to get through my moves without the Experienced Movers and Storage. They were SO sweet and helpful, very kind and respectful. They got the work done quickly and efficiently, helped me pack up, and were very flexible and reliable. I felt like I was working for real people who actually cared about their customers. I've used them three times now!

I've used The Experienced Movers twice, first for a residential move three and one-half years ago, then to move my office about 6 months ago. Owner Aswad is a pleasure to work with--reliable, reliable, reliable. Different moving crews for each of the moves. The guys who did my house move were great. The guys who did the office move were less great, but the apparent chief of the crew more than made up for the not so energetic attitude of his helpers. The one problem with the house move--a tough-to-put-together bed not exactly right--Aswad fixed quickly and courteously, even though he had to make a trip to a store to get a part. I would absolutely use The Experienced Movers again and recommend them highly.
