My educational background has prepared me for the role of math and statistics tutoring. In particular, my study of math and statistics courses has given me a solid background so that I can tutor in math and statistics very well. I am eager to contribute my enthusiasm and up-to-date skills to the Thumbtack team. I started studying statistics in 2000, when I was studying medical sciences at Umm Al-Qura Unversity in Saudi Arabia. The name of the course was biostatistics, and it stimulated my appetite to studying statistics in more detail. Then in 2007, I got a scholarship to study biostatistics at the University of Waterloo in Canada. I spent three years there studying undergraduate courses in mathematics and statistics. In 2011, I was admitted to the University of Vermont to study for a master's in biostatistics. I can help students in understanding statistics and math more deeply than just doing things mechanically without really understanding what is going on. I used to tutor my colleagues in a medical sciences program, so I think I have the ability to explain concepts so easily that everyone can understand the material very well. My tutoring service is cheap and affordable compared to other tutors, and the reason is that, I want to attract more students and to help them understand statistics and Math without spending a lot of money. I am not looking for money as much as I am looking for helping people understand statistics and math.
