FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I love this job. The performance is the fun part, and I would do that for free every single time. The preparation is what takes the time. I like to take input from my customers and turn their wishes into a well curated, well rehearsed and well polished set that feels like a performance. I don't set my fees in stone. Just get in touch and tell me what you're looking for and we can work from there, almost always finding a price to make everyone happy, and I promise I will over-deliver.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening. Lots of listening. I want to know what they want for the party as a whole - the whole vibe, the whole flow of the event, how they want it to start, finish and everything in between. And obviously, I want to know what they like for music. So I will speak with them as much as possible to get a feel for the kind of party they're looking for and build my set from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No real professional training. Just a lot of passion, and an absolute ton of practice and study.
