We needed pro assistance to finish a stalled DIY fireplace job before hosting a party the following weekend. We really appreciated the quick scheduling & communication from the office management team, the pro's quick understanding of what we wanted done with no attempt to upsell or add on unnecessary with, and the professionalism (arrived in time, got the job done within an hour, all trash & debris around the fireplace completely give at the end of the job). Oh my gosh! Where do I begin? We had an amazing experience with Oscar and his team. Joanne, who books the appointments, is so kind and patient and answered all of our questions. Oscar came to give us an estimate and explained everything in detail to us. He came back a few days later with his team and within a few hours we had a clean, safe, and partially rebuilt chimney. He is a true craftsman. He loves what he does, and it shows in his work. He is so neat and clean and was extremely respectful of our home like it was his own. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them, you just have to experience it for yourself. Oscar just left and we already booked our cleaning for next year!

Quality 1st was fantastic! Exceeded all my expectations at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended. My 60 year old chimney was in reasonably good shape but needed mortar replaced (re-pointing) an a new crown (the mortar on top of the bricks) and stainless steel cap installed. It is a double flue, heating system and fireplace. I'm having the roof replaced and wanted to have the chimney work done first. Chimney flashing will be done by the roofer. I do most of my home repairs myself but this job looked like one for a pro. Hearing lots of contractor horror stories, I did some extensive research to make sure I hired the right people. I had several estimates and all but Quality 1st tried to sell me things that I did not ask for and did not need. When Oscar came by to check out the chimney we had a long talk about what needed to be done and how much it would cost. The price he quoted was not the lowest bid but still reasonable and I was more concerned about workmanship than saving a few dollars. There was no hard sell and I really had a good feeling about Quality 1st and was impressed by all the great reviews. Dealing with Oscar and Joanne in their office was a pleasure. They were very responsive to all my messages. The crew arrived exactly on time, weather was perfect. The supervisor, Ozzie, was very personable and explained what was going to be done. He did a careful inspection of my flue pipes and said that a liner would be good to consider for the future but was not an immediate concern. I figured this job would take the 3 workers a couple of hours at most. Turns out they were there for over 5 hours and worked non-stop. I watched them from my driveway and could not believe their attention to detail. It was as if they working on their own homes. To say that they wre meticulous would be an understatement! And after they were done, the cleanup was just as perfect. They cleaned every particle off the entire roof and then cleaned my back deck, patio and driveway. It was cleaner than when they started. A perfect job; can't ask for more than that. I will certainly use and recommend them for any future chimney or masonry work that needs to be done. Thank you Oscar, Joanne, Ozzie and crew for an outstanding job.
