Hi, I’m Mike — a local electrical apprentice with 5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work and general handyman services.
I currently work full time in the trade, gaining hours toward my license, and I take on small side jobs during nights and weekends to keep building my skills and help out local homeowners who need reliable, affordable help.
I’ve worked on a wide range of residential and light commercial projects, including installing light fixtures and ceiling fans, troubleshooting dead outlets and switches, replacing old devices, updating lighting, and general home repairs. I’m transparent about what I can and can’t take on based on permit and license requirements — and if something’s outside my scope, I’ll always let you know upfront and can refer you to a licensed electrician if needed.
My goal is to offer clean, safe, and honest work at a fair price. I show up on time, keep the lines of communication open, and treat your home with the same care I would my own. If you’re looking for help with a small project or repair, I’d be happy to take a look and let you know what’s involved.

Mike is extraordinarily talented, and equally trustworthy. He meticulously installed a 52” B.A.F. ceiling fan with new wiring in our primary bedroom. This was no easy task, and the end result was flawless - almost as if the manufacturer came to our house and installed the unit themselves. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and genuinely can’t wait to hire Mike for future projects. His surgical approach combined with a passionate attitude is nearly impossible to find with contractors. Hire Mike and I promise you’ll be at ease, there’s a reason he has a perfect rating!

Mike is amazing and I am so grateful to have met him! We have an old house here with old weird electrical that I wanted to have functioning better yet still keep its old charm and character. We switched out new versions of old switches, installed fixtures and dimmers and got everything more streamlined.. all I had heard before was that the electrical here was a mess and we couldn't do better than what it was. Well, Mike didn't flinch or fret about it at all, came back with a really detailed and professional list of what we needed- what he would get and what I would get-- came back and spend at least half a day working it all out. Plus he's cool and nice. I cant recommend him highly enough. Thanks Mike!

Working with Mike was a pleasure from start to end! He installed two ceiling lights above our kitchen counter and a nest thermostat. He was upfront about cost and complexity of the project, always polite and professional and on time. He did an excellent job and we highly recommend him.
I would definitely recommend Mike. We hired him to install new exterior security cameras and he was incredibly easy to work with, was very responsive and did a great job. We look forward to working with him again for our next electrical project.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep pricing fair and straightforward. For most jobs, I’ll give you a flat rate once I know what’s involved — no surprises or hidden fees. If it’s something quick, I might just charge a simple service call rate. I don’t mark up materials and I’m happy to work with you to stay within your budget. Estimates are always free, and I’ll never push work you don’t actually need.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start by getting a quick description of the work you need done — either by message, call, or pictures if that’s easier. From there, I’ll let you know if it’s something I can take on and give a ballpark estimate or set up a time to stop by and take a look. Once we agree on the scope and price, I’ll schedule the work and keep you updated if anything changes. No pressure, no upselling — just honest work and clear communication.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a little bit of everyone — homeowners looking to upgrade lights or outlets, landlords needing quick fixes between tenants, folks remodeling a room, and even small business owners who need help with their shops or offices. Most of my customers just want someone who’s reliable, does clean work, and doesn’t overcomplicate things — and that’s exactly how I try to operate.
