My husband and I hired Jason and his band, The Frantic Blue, to play live for our wedding ceremony and reception, and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a talented professional musician for their own event. Although our experience with Jason was for a live show rather than a DJed event, much of what we enjoyed about the experience would also apply were he DJing rather than playing live. First, Jason's professionalism was outstanding. He was always quick to respond to any questions we had, and was willing to meet in person if we needed something that couldn't be done over the phone or through email. He was up front with pricing, as well as with what would or wouldn't work well for our guests and venue regarding the location and set list. He worked with us diligently, and used his experience as a musician to find the best possible setup for our event. Second, his attention to detail made working with him a breeze. He was very meticulous with every aspect of the band's setup at the venue, and made sure to go over all the details with us regarding where the band would be and what the band would be doing at any given point in the schedule for the day. Because of all his hard work, we were fully confident on the day of the wedding that everything was going to be fantastic, and it was! Third, it became clear as we developed our song list, venue layout, and reception schedule with Jason that he was truly invested in ensuring that we and our guests had a great time. He was able to personalize the song list to the demographics of our guests by learning about the types of people that would be at the event and their tastes. He even went so far as to hold a special set of rehearsals with my friend who planned to sing at the ceremony so that she would be able to practice before the event. He really went above and beyond for us, and I can't thank him enough! Lastly, let's not forget the sheer talent! Jason is a gifted musician who is well versed in a wide variety of genres. Everyone at our wedding, from the very young to the very old, musically conservative to experimental, enjoyed the band's performance. There was something for everyone. He knew how to gauge the mood of the crowd and adapt the music accordingly to ensure that everyone had a great time right up to the very end of the event. Hiring Jason was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Please strongly consider him for your own event!

Jason "DJed" my wedding at the end of August 2015. From the start and through the months leading up to the wedding, Jason was always professional but at the same time laid back and easy to work with. He always made himself available when we had questions and was always happy to provide feedback and suggestions regarding the music selection. Jason also pulled off what I consider to be a logistically difficult wedding event by himself, flawlessly. Our ceremony was outdoors in a field, followed by cocktail hour on the porch of a large inn, followed by reception in a tent. Jason moved seamlessly through the three locations, nailed the announcements, and supplemented our song requests well to keep it going for several hours. Jason also pays attention to detail and did some troubleshooting when he needed to- like when I accidentally sent him the same Ukrainian language (Jason does not read write or speak Ukrainian) song under two different titles, he picked up on it and pointed out to me. He also moved his entire setup in the tent when we changed our mind a little while before the ceremony. My wife and I and our guests had a great time and we recommend Jason highly.

Jason was the DJ for my daughter's birthday party and did an excellent job. He was outgoing, friendly and very engaging. He played the perfect mix of music, including the songs we requested. I would highly recommend Jason to anyone and would definitely utilize his DJ services again :)

I am constantly subscribing to digital and analogue (vinyl) DJ forums and Websites that are a wealth of information! I have completed online classes regarding live mixing and wedding planning for DJ's.
