- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a minimum standard charge of $150 however, I do not charge for accurate estimates or to walk through a job with a customer in order to determine what needs to be done. Labor rates vary with job type, from $$$ an hour to "bid" pricing which covers entire job. minimum charge applies to hourly charges, I do not charge my customers a "show up" charge like most service companies do.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As with all customers, communication is key. I can't fix an issue if I don't know it exists. Next would be explaining what actually needs to be done to achieve the customers goal, which I try to provide at a reasonable cost with out any issues, messes, or damage left for another trade to fix. I have great all around experience in all Trades, so it's like one stop shopping. I should be able to take care of entire job. If not, customers are advised of this before any work starts.

32 years on the job, electronic theory and fabrication, mathematics and chemistry education. OSHA 30 HOUR. federal EPA certs
