About
I am an expert in the Arabic language, Middle East and Islamic religion and culture. I am a native Arabic speaker and a near native English speaker with a 4.0 GPA in my MA degree in Arabic Linguistics & Translation. I have been teaching Arabic for the past 18 years to hundreds of students. I develop lessons based on my students’ needs to help them achieve their academic and/or career goals. I use authentic material and I teach all levels in Modern Standard and dialects. I have ample experience in preparing students to pass the government’s tests in Arabic for purposes of overseas deployment and hire. My teaching sessions are well-rounded in language skills, reading, writing, grammar, listening and speaking. I conduct my lessons very thoroughly and always meet my students’ objectives. I make it my business to have my students achieve their linguistic goals.

Reem Nourallah is a talented, experienced Arabic language instructor, and I have seen it clearly in her commitment to work with me and teach Arabic as a second language over the past eight months. She is skilled at structuring the needs of the tutoring to the student and, in my experience, she follows whatever pace the student needs while pushing them to succeed and strive for the next level of proficiency. I cannot recommend Reem Nourallah's tutoring services enough; she is responsive anytime of the week to questions, always punctual about appointments, and is especially adept at figuring out where a student is and meeting them at that point to develop the necessary grammar and vocabulary skills. Her teaching style is patient and encouraging, which I have found especially useful while covering complex topics. 5 stars is not enough to reward her commitment to her students.

Reem is extremely talented and posses a gift for teaching. Her approach motivates the student to embrace the language as well as the culture. She is without a doubt a wonderful teacher and mentor to a student serious about studying the Arabic language. Pedagogically, the student has a clear plan of learning and growth in the language.
