Thank to Mr. Grevious for your knowledge and professionalism. The consultation and guidance from you was extremely helpful in planning the work for our basement (demolition for future renovation) and the foundation concerns. Your recommendations how to work with our contractors was extremely helpful. We were able to fix the foundation issue taking your advice which saved us from spending for unnecessary work to fix the problem. Ill add that your guidance with the pre-work on the basement was extremely helpful with decisions to be made for the work to be done. Your experience and knowledge saved me from pursuing what would have been costly decisions; and helped me to get the work done within cost effectively. Thank you so much.

The job we had was to add a dormitory to one of our small house , after getting estimates from other contractors and architects was ridiculous, I got referred by a co-worker to use the thumbtack site, after explaining my situation, I got so many calls from different contractors , among all there was one call that come from Grievous architect , because I was turning around by other architectures , I was about to give up , but than Mr. Grievous called back Mr. Grievous this is a great a person to work withhe was respond right away, show up on time, give an estimate, don't talk you into more work than you need, do the job right and he was very pleasant through the whole process, from that on everything have been wonderful, his professional work was amazing he did it just right. I selected him and his business after getting two other estimates, one twice as much with far less detail in the estimate, the other just gave a verbal estimate. If you want good work without getting ripped off, just skip the scam artists out there and call Grievous architect. I highly recommend him. The work was done promptly and perfectly, and the price was very reasonable I'd definitely call him back for other work in the future!

This is an update response to this man who was trying to scam us. He did not provide us with any work as requested. We stand by the below review and ask that Thumbtack users stay clear of him. My husband and I contacted this scam architect back in Feb 2022; we were skeptical of him so we canceled the request in Thumbtack. In September of 2022, he contacted us via the information he had gathered from our initial Thumbtack contact stating that he is available to do the drawings for us for half of what he quoted us in the beginning. He presented us with a contract that said he would receive a non refundable retainer for the ground work to prepare our drawings and the balance after we receive drawings that would allow us to obtain the necessary building permits from the county. He never intended on giving us any drawings, but used the non-refundable verbiage to scam us out of $500.00. I think he is doing this to more than just us. If you do business with this man, do not give him any money up front because you will not get what you are paying for. In our wildest dreams would we expect an old black person would behave this way? Thumbtack need to stop allowing scammers on their planform. We will never use Thumbtack again
