FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated at all. I offer payment plans to all clients and reserve a few slots for low-bono clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If I were to describe a "typical" attorney client cycle with me, it would look something like this: 1. Short telephone conversation where we clarify the issue and any looming crisis/deadline/court date. 2. Face to face consultation: here we review their legal concern with more depth and I provide an overview of how we will create a strategy and terms of engagement. 3. Ongoing communication with client (via telephone, email, etc.) to maintain contact as the client's matter evolves. 4. I pursue all available legal options available to get my client the best possible outcome. 5. After their matter has concluded, we stay in touch. Many of my previous clients are kind enough to refer me to their friends and family too.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a public speaker and that alone keeps you sharp. I am constantly reviewing new content. I also teach law school (on an adjunct basis), and comply with all of my CLE requirements.
