Taberna del Alabardero is like a little corner of Spain in downtown DC. The space is elegant but still welcoming, with great service and a solid wine list. Tapas like croquetas and patatas bravas are spot-on, and the paella is rich and flavorful. Its pricier than a casual tapas bar, but perfect for a special night out.

I highly recommend this classy restaurant. The food, ambiance and service is excellent!! We got great service from Elmer, and Maria. They were very attentive, excellent service. Kudos to them!The flamenco performance as part of their scheduled programming is a treat for the eyes. Just beautiful!!I felt i had a mini trip to Spain!

Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. The Flamenco dancing was the highlight. Only downside was that they couldnt locate my reservation. I was still able to get a table with my family because it wasnt that busy when we arrived. Highly recommended.
