I love using my photography to capture and celebrate the joys of life.
Following a childhood spent in France, Sweden and Tunisia, I dedicated over 20 years to living and working in some of the harshest corners of the globe, witnessing the courage and resilience of people in tough situations. My diverse experiences have taught me to accept and appreciate people just as they are and my photography aims to capture and preserve life's most precious moments.
I am fluent in English, French, Swedish, and speak basic Arabic.
I'm both an artist and an adventurer. Before I could afford my first camera, I used drawing as a way to understand and portray the world around me. Now I seek to create and appreciate art in all forms. It is the best job in the world.

I hired Pierre to capture my brother's engagement on the mall in DC. I wasn't able to be there since I live on the west coast, but was very happy Pierre was there to capture the moment for the happy couple. His photos turned out great and, according to my brother, he was a real pro in organization and logistics. I highly recommend Pierre!

Pierre is simply AMAZING. His pictures are stunning - which is why we hired him to do our engagement pictures. My husband hates having his picture taken... but Pierre made him laugh and put him at ease immediately. He looks so handsome in all of the pictures - Pierre told him he's a natural! He took pictures of us in Old Town Alexandria, where we met and fell in love. He captured a special moment where Eric recreated his proposal in front of a fountain. I can't believe how beautiful the pictures came out. Pierre has an incredible eye... both for scenery as well as capturing authentic moments. He gave us instruction on how to stand/where to put our hands so we didn't look awkward. We have gotten SO many compliments on our pictures! Because we had such a good experience with him, I wanted to book him for our wedding but he wasn't available as he was attending another wedding at the same time! Instead, I booked him to do boudoir photos for me (I gave my husband the gift of racy photos along with a fancy wallet as his groom's gift). I felt completely at ease with Pierre. He's professional, funny and tons of fun. His French accent is adorable to boot! My husband was THRILLED with the pictures. ;) He couldn't even pick out a favorite because he loved them all so much. Pierre is a wonderful photographer in addition to being a lovely and charming person. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I didn't know Pierre until after he snapped the photos of my proposal. His photos speak for themselves, but his coordination of capturing this moment were 2nd to none. I wanted to propose to my fiancé by the lincoln memorial at dusk and he coordinated that moment perfectly. He scouted out the area prior to us arriving there atnd advised me where to propose based on my requests and the elements. We can't wait to use Pierre again!

Pierre is fantastic! We got married at the end of August in Seattle, but wanted to capture some wedding pictures in the city we fell in love - Washington, DC - so we asked Pierre if he would be willing to take some photos of us post wedding. He was fantastic! Not only did he take photos of us that show our personalities, but he took photos that turned into a beautiful work of art. It was wonderful to have some of the city's iconic views in the background and was fun to get all dressed up again. I have, and will continue to, recommend Pierre's work to my friends and family.
