Barbara El Wilson is a dynamic and compelling story teller. She has worked with Friendship Public Charter Schools for two years bring stories to life for our PK - 1st grade scholars. Scholars leave inquisitive about the adventures she has taken them on and teachers are able to transfer that learning to the classroom! Barbara is also the owner of SugarFoot dolls. The dolls are representative of several ethnicities and great additions to our early childhood dramatic play centers. I highly recommend Barbara for any school that is looking for a literacy rich and affordable engaging learning experience for their scholars!

I met Barbara during the summer of 2012 when my daughter attended her Sugarfoots Performing Arts Camp. What Ms. Wilson did with the children in the camp was phenomenal! She was able to highlights each childâs assets and the end result was a performance that received a standing ovation! Whether she is storytelling, playwriting or directing, the end result will always leave you wanting more!

I worked with Ms. Wilson on a stage production that she wrote and directed with a cast of 30+. Needless to say she is a gifted writer and director and the performance was packed to capacity each night. As a Blog writer, her content is engaging and heartwarming. As a performer, her enriching spirit and bright smile draws you in, eager to cozy up to a familiar friend hanging on to every word that is spoken.

Having worked with Barbara Wilson on several projects I have found her to be the ultimate professional in all of her endeavors, timely, polite and exhibiting excellent follow through.
